Help in finding pants/jeans after having a baby?

So it’s been about 10 months since I’ve had my son and I’ve been stubborn in buying new pants since my prepregancy pants don’t fit. So I’ve been wearing scrubs, sweats and stretchy Maternity Pants still!! I’ve tried at a few places, and nothing fits right! So I’m asking if anyone has had any luck at certain stores or what I can do? I’m 5′2 and about 145 right now, I’m working out and actually trying to lose the weight now (it’s hard obviously with a baby, but with school and work on top of that, and the HOLIDAYS! ugh!) so just looking for any ideas that’ve worked for you guys, thanks a bunch!

It depends on your body shape…like if I go into Old Navy the pants have NEVER fit me right, but in Target I can find pants (Merona brand typically) that fit how I like them. Because you are trying to lose weight still I wouldn’t do a crazy shopping spree but I get what you need to do is to get a few pairs of pants that fit correctly. If you want to spend the money hit the mall up, go into JC Penny or a store like that and ask a store associate if they can assist you with finding proper fitting pants since nothing you find is fitting right…most times they will help you out without an issue. One of my friends has to shop where it’s plus sizes, and the employees there know how the pants will fit and can direct her to what will fit how she wants it too (They have clothes in size 10 at the lowest and I am not sure how big they go-so i can find jeans there too).

If you are trying to not splurge try out a 2nd hand store, pull out a bunch of differnt style pants and try them on and see what you like, be extremly critical of how the pants fit that way you find what you want without over buying and with actually finding stuff. There’s a 2nd hand store here Savers, and they have like 3 rows of just denim jeans (these are extremly long rows clothing racks) and I have hunted through in the size I am in and done this several times to find jeans that i like, you get the added bonus of cost being lower and the jeans are already worn in fairly well. They even sometimes have stuff with tags still there!
